We are trying to reduce wherever possible our impact on the
environment here and we would like to encourage our guests to follow suite.
To that end, we recycle about 60% of all our waste, we grow our own organic
produce and encourage energy and water saving practices. Vegetarian
kitchen leftovers, vegetable peelings, etc, are all fed to our two pet pigs.
They in turn help to fertilise our soil!
We also try
to promote our own local area economy through using our local shops,
restaurants and businesses, wherever possible.
We plan to grow more of our own produce over the next few
years, to improve our energy efficiency and to just try to do our green bit!
