Pyrenees think green holiday.

Sign up to 'Think Green' for the duration of your holiday and we will plant a tree on your behalf as a 'carbon offset'. All you have to do is to be aware of and try to adopt the following:

recycle plastics, card, metal and glass. We provide the bags and boxes
conserve water - turn off the tap when cleaning your teeth, have a shower instead of a bath
vegetable waste to the pigs for manure conversion!
turn off electrical items when not in use
on bio stuff in the toilets, including cleaner
use bio cleaning products
try to avoid damaging the local environment - but also enjoy it!

We want you to relax and enjoy your holiday - so don't worry, we won't set you any targets(!); we just want to encourage everyone to think towards helping us protect our environment.

We are trying to reduce wherever possible our impact on the environment here and we would like to encourage our guests to follow suite. To that end, we recycle about 60% of all our waste, we grow our own organic produce and encourage energy and water saving practices. Vegetarian kitchen leftovers, vegetable peelings, etc, are all fed to our four pet pigs. They in turn help to fertilise our soil!

We also try to promote our own local area economy through using our local shops, restaurants and businesses, wherever possible.

We plan to grow more of our own produce over the next few years, to improve our energy efficiency and to just try to do our green bit!
