Richard and Sandra moved to the Ariege 3 years ago with their 2 children Joseph (8) & Eva (7). 

 

 

 

 

 

Richard took early retirement from Government service and now runs a  full-time holiday business plus he is a part-time bio farmer, webmaster (this site is all my own work!), parent, gardener and overall amuser of the local French residents!  He enjoys the great outdoors, and has quickly built a broad & detailed knowledge of walking, wildlife and activity highlights and 'must see' places/events in the Pyrenees.

Sandra as well as being a busy gite owner, chef and mother, also works for Midi Pyrenees Properties showing houses across the Midi Pyrenees region to international clients . Sandra also enjoys walking, exploring and running.

Joseph & Eva attend the local school, speak fluent French and are now both learning Spanish as well - another challenge to parenting skills!  Joseph & Eva enjoy exploring, making dens, feeding & walking their other animals, and enjoying the freedom, space and the generally better weather found in the south of France!
